The Transit of Mercury

Nov. 8 2006

Mercury transited in from of the Sun (a phenomena that occurs approximately 13 times per century)

Along with the Memphis Astronomical Society  imaged the Sun and Mercury using different techniques.

These pictures were taken with the other telescopes around de observation site: Bill Wilson's Questar and Janet Howard's Coronado PST.

As I did not have imaged before on these scopes, my images were not as good as I would like them to be: we have a saying in Spanish: You only know to read on you own book!

Note: These images do not honor the quality of what I saw on those telescopes.
